The Wellington Community Association (WCA) is dedicated to representing local residents, advocating for affordability and sustainability, and enhancing the overall livability of our community.

Ensuring that development is of high quality and meets the real needs of Wellington residents; controlling water rates; affordable housing.

Key Goals

To determine residents' needs and concerns.
To consult and represent: be a respected, credible voice for the Wellington community that promotes and protects community values and interests.
To act as a forum to generate ideas for improving our community.
To monitor and work with developers and builders towards the responsible and respectful development of Wellington, ensuring that proposed projects are in keeping with the character of the existing community and utilize environmental best practices.
To work with developers of affordable housing to address the needs of all Wellington residents.

Our valued steering committee member Barry Davidson died on
April 4, 2024.
